These are the core values that have defined the VIDEOTON Group’s journey over the past 30 years.
Technology: As an industrial manufacturer, modern, high value-added technologies are the key to our competitiveness. This enables us to compete successfully with the market pressure from the Far East faced by European service providers.
Stability: On the one hand, it means our solid financial background; on the other hand, it guarantees that VIDEOTON – as one of Hungary’s largest employers and a leading, exclusively Hungarian-owned corporate group – is committed to the Central and Eastern European region. We manufacture, develop, create jobs locally, and take responsibility for the impacts of our activities.
Sustainability: Although compliance with environmental regulations has always been fundamental for us, the importance of sustainability has become even more significant in recent years. Instead of “greenwashing”, VIDEOTON chose the honest and rational path: even before the global energy crisis, it implemented real, effective investments that materially reduced energy consumptionnever been more critical than it is today. VIDEOTON has always adhered strictly to environmental regulations, and our business decisions were significantly influenced by energy efficiency considerations.
Dynamism: Our continuous ability to adapt to the market environment and customer expectations. This has enabled us to provide successful responses to the challenges of the past three decades.
Sustainability, however, extends far beyond environmental responsibility. It includes the well-being of our employees, the long-term potential of our business relationships, and the development of the communities that host our operations. That is why our sustainability strategy also integrates our social and business values – because true sustainability means operating with a long-term vision, considering the impact of our actions, and contributing meaningfully to the growth of our shared community. We are committed to set good examples and reach true impact through our activities.
We are well aware that this is just the beginning. There is still much to be done, but our goal is clear: to leave a prosperous and sustainable business model to the next generation.
Because this is the only way it can be done, and the only way it is worth doing.
